Persian Gulf Sea Port Services-Kish Line Company was established in 2005 in Kish Free Zone to present variety of port & marine services to ships in the field of bunkering and other relevant services in the North and South Seas of Iran. This company has carried out comprehensive feasibility studies for execution of services to ships in the field of bunkering, supplying ship requirements such as fresh water, spare parts, foods, reception and treatment of ship wastes, health reception and discharge of wastes in Persian Gulf Port and has begun the design and construction stages of oil product storage site by complete observance of international standards for marine bunkering. The foreseen investment for design and construction of fuel storage tanks in the Persian Gulf Oil Zone is 30 million USD and total period of construction and completion has been estimated at 30 months as follows:
a) 18 months for execution of phase 1 with the area of 30000 sq.m. for the establishment of storages with capacity of 34800 tons and relevant facilities.
b) 12 months for execution of phase 2 with the area of 20000 sq.m. for the establishment of storages with capacity of 30000 tons and relevant facilities.
One of the important specifications of these facilities is required oil product storage of region and direct connection of that to the jetties through pipe lines.
